National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), India’s one of the largest power Company recruit the Engineering Executive Trainees through GATE Score. The application form of the NTPC recruitment through GATE 2019 score for Engineering Executive Trainees is already released.

Founded in the year 1975, NTPC has a plans to become a 130 GW company by the year 2032. Eligibility Criteria For NTPC Recruitment Through GATE

• All the candidates who are applying for the NTPC recruitment should have Indian citizenship.
• Candidates should have a full-fledged engineering degree with an aggregate of 65% for general category and for SC/ST and PwD it is 55%.
• The candidate must be a graduate in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electronics and Mining engineering.
• Candidates must match the medical norms available on the official website of NTPC. All the shortlisted candidates should have to go through a medical test which will be conducted by the NTPC medical board officers.
• The upper age limit for the NTPC recruitment is 27 years for General category applicants. Relaxation is applicable as per Government norms.

• For general category the registration fees is Rs. 150/- and for SC/ST/PwD category applicants registration fee is exempted.

Selection Procedure of NTPC Recruitment through GATE 2019

NTPC has their own way to shortlist the candidates for the recruitments. The points given below will let you know about the selection procedure of NTPC recruitments –

• The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their GATE 2019 scores. The candidates who are shortlisted have to appear for an online aptitude test organized by NTPC.
• If candidates passed the online aptitude exam, then they will further go for the next level that is Group Discussion (GD) and the Personal Interview (PI).
• NTPC will release the final merit list to recruit the candidates on the basis of their GATE scores, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
• The ultimate merit list shall be prepared based on 85% weightage of GATE 2019 marks, 5% weightage of GD marks and 10% weightage of Interview marks.

NTPC Pay Scale and Service Bond

The candidates who will be selected will get a basic pay scale of 60,000/- during one year training period. Candidates will also have some other facilities like Dearness Allowance, other perquisites and allowances, Terminal benefits etc. NTPC has the pay scale of 60,000 – 1,80,000.

The General and OBC selected applicants will be required to execute a service agreement bond of Rs 2,50,000 (Rs 1,25,000 for SC/ST/PwD candidates) to serve the company for at least 3 years after successful completion of the 1- year training.
