This is a discussion on AfterGraduation's new article "Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2018: Stanford Gets Top Spot, ISB, IIM Ahmedabad Slips".

Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2018 are out and two year MBA programmes are top on the list with 9 Schools in top 10 Global MBA rankings with Stanford holding the top position. Insead’s One Year MBA programme top the list in past 2 years falls to second in latest Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2018.

Indian Management institutes have managed to keep their spots, but just. The top Indian management school, Indian School of Business, even though ranked above IIMs, is at same ranking as last year, 2017 Global MBA ranking. Other than ISB, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta were the top schools from India finding a mention in the best 100 MBA programmes worldwide.

IIM Ahmedabad, the most famous and also the top-ranked management school in India as per NIRF rankings 2017 has slipped to the 31st position from last year’s 29. In FT Global ranking 2017, IIMA slipped 5 positions from its previous ranking.
