Quantitative Aptitude (QA) section in CAT contributes 34% share of the total questions in CAT examination and is considered to be one of the toughest and the most challenging section of the paper as many might blame it for being time-consuming and tricky. We here share the details of CAT exam paper and Quantitative Aptitude Preparation tips to score better in CAT 2018.
With around 4 months left for CAT 2018 examination, many students already accelerated their pace of preparation with the aim to score good percentile. The CAT exam paper consists of 100 questions which are divided into 3 major sections – DILR (Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning), QA (Quantitative Aptitude) and VARC (Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension). These questions are further divided into MCQ type questions with negative marking and Non-MCQ type questions without negative marking. Quantitative Aptitude will be the 3rd section in CAT 2018.
