ICAI to Reopen Registration Window: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has decided this Saturday to reopen the online application window for CA May exams 2021. Candidates who could not apply for the CA May 2021 exams have got another opportunity to fill the examination form.
The ICAI online application form link will open on May 4, 2021, at 10:00 am and will close on May 6 at 11:59 pm. Candidates can apply online for the examination through the ICAI official site on icai.org.
Once the registration window re-opens, the application forms will be available online for Chartered Accountants Final, Intermediate (IPC), Intermediate, Post Qualification Course viz.: Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination, and International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT – AT). As per ICAI, Candidates will also have to pay ₹600/- or the US $10 as late fees.
The notice reads: “Considering the prevailing Covid-19 situation and in the interest of welfare & well-being of the students and to mitigate their hardships, in continuation to Important Announcement dated 27th April 2021, it has been decided to reopen the online filling up of examination application form for Chartered Accountants Final, Intermediate (IPC), Intermediate, Post Qualification Course viz.: Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination, and International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT – AT) from 4th May 2021 (10 AM) to 6th May 2021 (11:59 PM) with late fees (Rs.600/- or US $ 10).”

How to Apply for CA May 2021 Exams?
- Visit the ICAI official Exam website
- Click on the Login/ Register tab
- Login using the credentials
- Fill the details in the application form
- Pay the applicable application fee and submit.
This decision to reopen the registration window comes few days after ICAI postponed CA May Exam 2021 for final and intermediate courses due to an ongoing COVID 19 pandemic situation.
Earlier, the ICAI CA Intermediate exams were scheduled to begin on May 22 and the final exams were scheduled to be conducted from May 21 has been postponed. The Institute will review the pandemic situation and the fresh dates will be announced at least 25 days before the commencement of exams. Candidates are requested to regularly check the official website of ICAI for further information and updates.
